This is a serious 18 inch long magnetic pick up tool. It is used by metal detectorist for easily picking up iron junk and eliminating small iron targets from the recovery scoop. It is also used by meteorite hunters to identify and retrieve iron meteorites and chondrites without kneeling. Shooting hobbyist also use them to pick up shotgun shells or any iron objects. The Stick is 1.25 inch fiberglass and is about 18 inches long. The tip has a large super magnet, 1 inch in diameter and 3/4 inch tall. The magnet is protected by a durable plastic cap to make for easy cleaning. The rubber grip is made of a rugged material to insure a comfortable non-slip grip. The magnet is extremely powerful and is capable of retrieving the smallest meteorites that contain very little iron. The total weight is only 12 ounces.
